The key pillars of frugality:

NOT being cheap. Spend money to have a normal quality of life and save money in other ways.
Minimalism. Don't buy things you don't need :)
Environmentally friendly. Buy used, re-use, and recycle as much as possible.
Frugal is not buying nothing, it's spending on the things you value. Quality over quantity!
